2. Sportsmanship: Display good sportsmanship at all times, including during practices, meets, and team events.
3. Safety: Follow all safety rules and instructions given by coaches.
4. Punctuality: Arrive on time for practices, and meets. This means allowing time to get ready to enter the pool at the start of practice and/or ready with caps and goggles when warm-ups begin.

Disciplinary Actions

Swimmers showcasing disrespect and disruptive behavior during practice will be given 1 verbal warning from coaches. After this, if the behavior does not change, at the coach's discretion, swimmers will be asked to sit out for a period of time during practice. Following this, coaches will inform the parents/guardians of the disruptive behavior that occurred.
For continued infractions or serious misconduct (e.g., bullying, fighting, blatant disregard for safety rules). - The swimmer will be suspended from practices and meets for a specified period. Parents will be informed, and a meeting will be held to discuss the conditions for returning to the team.
We want our team to be a safe and encouraging activity for not just our swimmers, but the broader KCF swim family. All swimmers are expected to respect one another, coaches, other swim team members, officials, and volunteers.
Implementation and Review
This policy will be reviewed annually by the coaching staff and the swim team committee to ensure its effectiveness and fairness. Any changes will be communicated to the team members and their parents. By adhering to this disciplinary policy, we aim to maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment that promotes the growth and development of all our swimmers.
